2024 Tours

Challenges in Israel

We cannot know what the exact conditions in Israel will be when we go there. We do know this:

- Our God will go before us and His will will be carried out there.

- All sites that we schedule are open and visited daily by tourists and locals.

- Over 70,000 volunteers/month go to Israel and not one has been injured or killed due to aggressive actions.

- Our tour does not go to the far north where there is military action.

- Our tour does go to the Gaza border so our travelers can see what it is like for the people that live in that area. We also participate in adding our thoughts to a Peace Wall adjacent to the Gaza border wall. If our travelers do not wish to visit this area, we will skip it, as we would any other site that would pose a risk.

- Our guide and driver care about us and only want us to have a wonderful experience in Israel. We would not take you to Israel if we felt it was unsafe to do so. Travel is inherently risky but it is worth the experience.

- If your family or friends are hesitant for you to travel to Israel, we can have you and/or them talk to people who live there to understand that life is nearly normal where we visit.

Our restructured 2024 tours will still be the wonderful programs we've always offered!

All 4 countries - Greece, Israel, Jordan, & Egypt - are now available on our October/November tour. Whether you choose just Israel or add more tours in the Holy Land, you will be amazed and inspired by all you learn and experience. Follow Paul in Greece, Jesus in Israel, and the Old Testament forefathers through Jordan & Egypt. Your Christian life will be enriched forever by having been to the places of the Bible and knowing where our faith began.

Please pray about joining us and register soon as we need to finalize our groups in the near future.

Our goal is to prepare you to be better disciples and share Jesus with all you know!

We have led all of these tours several times and know the service providers, hotels, activities, and how to prepare you for all we will do. We endeavor to provide you with the best value possible while ensuring you have all the amenities you need and expect.

We will have a meet & greet and/or a meeting before we travel (in Visalia) to go through all the details, ensure you are packing appropriately, and to set your expectations for this wonderful trip. No detail will be left out!

The Tour Details listed below are in the order we will travel in 2024.

Use the Cost Estimator tool to total your tour costs with tips, activity, & extra hotel night options. You can try different options to see what works best for you.

Note that Costs do not include flights, lunch, travel insurance, and personal expenses.

We also ask that travelers donate $100 to our ministry to offset expenses for our non-profit. A tax-deductible receipt will be sent at year end.

All are welcome to join us in Israel and those who have been to Israel before, with us or with another tour, are welcome to go to Greece, Jordan & Egypt as well.

About the Tours

Hotels - We typically stay in 4*+ hotels where possible in safe, well-located areas to minimize redundant driving. Luggage is managed from the bus to your room and back to the bus though you can manage your own if you wish.

You may bring a roommate, ask to be connected to others looking for roommates (same gender), or room as a single (extra cost). Your choice can vary per country.

Busses - Each country's busses vary but all are clean, have water on board (free or for purchase), and some (Israel's for sure) have wi-fi and charging ports. You can leave belongings on the bus during the day.

Guides - Guides are specifically chosen for their expertise in the areas we visit and for the interests of our groups. in most countries, we will have guides we have used in the past as we know their skills and demeanor.

Daily Schedule - We are typically on the bus by 730/8am and back to the hotel before 6pm dinner. Lunch is usually around 1pm and you can take snacks from breakfast. We are on/off the bus all day, walking, touring, & enjoying the water.

Food - Breakfast & dinner are provided each day except travel days. Food is plentiful and a wide variety is offered to accommodate dietary restrictions. Travelers love the food options and walk off the excess intake every day.

Our Greece itinerary is incredible! It's all you have dreamed of with ancient Bible, gorgeous water & skies, and amazing food & hospitality. Most importantly, we follow Paul's ministry. His epistles will come alive!

Paul has been jailed, threatened with stoning, and thrown out of three Macedonian cities -- yet has had an exceedingly successful mission, establishing churches that flourish for many years. Escaping Berea ahead of the plots of the Jews of Thessalonica, Paul now travels to the Roman province of Achaia, what we call Greece.

"The men who escorted Paul brought him to Athens and then left with instructions for Silas and Timothy to join him as soon as possible." Acts 17:15

This year, we will depart Athens for a 4 night cruise through the Greek islands of Mykonos, Ephesus (Turkey), Patmos, Rhodes, Crete Heraklion, & Santorini.  See the beautiful sites in each place while also touring the cave where John wrote Revelation and watching the sun set near the white & blue buildings on the top of Santorini. After an amazing cruise, we will see all the sites in Athens and visit Ancient Corinth & Mycenae then drive north to Berea, Thessaloniki, Philippi, & Kavala where Paul spent much time.

Note: Greece is a separate tour that can be combined with other countries but has unique payment dates and terms. Please see the Payment Schedule for details.

Highlights

- Follow PAUL through Greece, visiting many sites where his influence was critical to the spread of Christianity
- Small cruise ship
 with escort to assist
- Guided tours on several islands with free time where best enjoyed

Israel
10 nights

The Land of the Bible, the Holy cities, the birthplace of our Savior Jesus, and the home of the origin of our faith - Israel is so welcoming to Christians and we have a tremendous journey planned!

Genesis 12:2-3

“I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

Our 10-night itinerary will take you to all of the Bible places that most tours go but we extend our time to ensure you visit so many more places that will enrich your understanding of where Jesus came from, what he was really teaching his disciples & followers, and how the Jewish people there are preserving that Christian heritage for us.

We see so much on our tours but we also reflect, rest, worship, enjoy the beautiful water, and learn about the cultural, geological, archaeological, political, and social aspects of this nation. You will fall in love with Israel and return home ready to share all you've learned.

See the full itinerary for everywhere we visit and remember that, as our guide will tell you, you can sleep when you get home!

Jordan
4 nights

Jordan & Egypt must be toured together.

There is no country quite like Jordan!  Jordan has a tremendous Biblical history that we explore in many areas from north to south.

Deuteronomy 32:48-52: Now the Lord spoke to Moses that very same day, saying, 49 “Go up to this mountain of the Abarim, Mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab opposite Jericho, and look at the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the sons of Israel as a possession.

One of the most popular stops in Jordan is Petra, the home of the Nabateans and where Aaron, Moses' brother, is buried. The trek down the siq to discover the Treasure & beyond is unlike any other experience.

We also really enjoy running 4WDs and camels through the Wadi Rum desert before enjoying lunch in a Bedouin camp.  Travelers have an option to snorkel in the Red Sea from a spot where you can see several Middle East countries at once - it's quite unique. Our hotel at Aqaba is one of the nicest in the world and you will enjoy relaxing there after days in the desert.

Jordan is a wonderful extension to your Israel journey!

Egypt
4 nights

Jordan & Egypt must be toured together.

Exodus 19:3-5 Moses climbed up to meet God, and the Lord called out to him from the mountain, saying, “You will say this to the house of Jacob and announce it to the children of Israel: 4 ‘You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians and how I lifted you up on eagles’ wings and brought you here to me. 5 Now, if you will obey my voice and keep my covenant, you will be my own possession from among all the peoples, for the entire earth is mine.

Egypt is another country that just can't be understood unless you've been there. We will travel by ferry from Jordan to tour St. Catherine's monastery at the base of Mt. Sinai before a wonderful Bedouin dinner. Those who wish to hike Mt. Sinai will leave at midnight for the +/- 8 hour trek up the mountain for sunrise and back for breakfast. It is the most incredible experience! It's so worth the effort and lost sleep!

We have an interesting drive day following Sinai north to Cairo where we will spend 3 days/nights learning about the Bible in Egypt, Egyptian culture & history, riding near the Pyramids & Sphinx on a camel (get your Christmas card photo here!), touring the Egyptian museum, and visiting places significant to Egyptian life.

Highlights

- Camel rides & photos in front of the Giza Pyramids
- Overnight hike to the top of Mt. Sinai where Moses received the 10 Commandments
- Tour of St. Catherine's Monastery & Burning Bush
- Cairo sites tour & Egyptian museum
- Experiences you will not find elsewhere!
