Click the link below for more information about "shopping" on our trips.

- Though we don't focus on shopping (some travelers prefer this and others don't like that we don't take time to shop at every site), we do allow plenty of opportunities for you to find the mementos and souvenirs that will help you remember the trip when you get home and to share with others.

- We provide limited shopping time at a variety of places, some large & some small, so you can find what touches your heart.

 - If we took time to shop everywhere, we'd never get to all the Bible sites which is what you paid to experience. We promise that no one leaves these countries without all the special things they wanted.

Everywhere we travel & may shop (except with the Bedouins in Jordan & Egypt) will accept credit cards. Israel, Jordan, and Egypt will accept US dollars but Greece prefers Euros and Turkey prefers Lira so you may want to take those currencies with you.  You will generally get a better price when negotiating if you have cash but you also do not get the protections of a credit card. Sometimes it matters; sometimes it doesn't. We'll help you with this.
We suggest you have small bills on hand (dollars are ok + some euros) for buying water, ice cream, snacks, and low-cost items. If going to Egypt, you will need many $1 bills for the toilets (we'll explain!).

Everyone loves the Dead Sea lotions & facial/body care products from Israel. You can sample them in Israel then buy them at home, usually at a discount with free shipping. Consider this as it saves you from carrying bulky items home and overfilling your suitcase!
