We strongly suggest that you take a foldable tote with you. It can be used as a day bag, laundry bag, or bag to carry your mementos home from the trip. It will pack small into your suitcase then can be used as a 3rd bag for your trip home. Consider checking your main bag under the plane to come home then carrying this tote and your purse or backpack on the plane as carryons. Buy one that has a luggage sleeve to attach to your suitcase and has durable handles that won't rip off.

Merino Wool Clothing

I love merino wool clothing for travel! It is breathable, temperature regulating (not hot in summer!), washes easily, doesn't hold odor, and packs very small. Merino is very versatile!
Though I don't pack only merino wool, I do travel with dresses, pants, tops, and underwear in wool to cut down on what I need to pack. I love merino socks & shoes too!
